The Gardener LIX: O Woman by Rabindranath Tagore
O woman, you are not merely the
handiwork of God, but also of men;
these are ever endowing you with
beauty from their hearts.
Poets are weaving for you a web
with threads of golden imagery;
painters are giving your form ever
new immortality.
The sea gives its pearls, the mines
their gold, the summer gardens their
flowers to deck you, to cover you, to
make you more precious.
The desire of men's hearts has shed
its glory over your youth.
You are one half woman and one
half dream

Spring/Summer Fashion is about the
Confident Woman who is
secure in her womanhood.
A woman who knows her value.
Her value as an individual.
Her value in the household.
As mother, daughter, wife, or sister.
Her value in community.
It isn’t about her conceit,
Knowing how good she looks.
It is about confidence…
Her beauty comes from
Within.
Artists, both of word and form,
Have tried to capture
That beauty.
The beauty of ,Woman.
Usually in the midst of spring and summer.
The time of rebirth.
When nature springs forth
With new life.
Flowers bud,
Trees blossom,
Lady Gaia springs forth
An orchestrated perfomance
In the beauty of Life.
The woman of confidence
May celebrate this wonderful
Time in her Spring/Summer fashion.
In the ways, of Aphrodite.

Celebrate this time of year
As nature brings forth
Its beauty.
